
Daniel Kaufman is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for GameStop, a publicly traded specialty retail chain of video gaming and consumer electronics stores headquartered in the Dallas area. GameStop has 4,700 stores in the United States, in Canada, and overseas. As Senior Vice President, he oversees all of the legal affairs of the company and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Prior to joining GameStop in January 2002, he was Vice President and General Counsel of Zany Brainy, another publicly traded specialty retail chain. He often counsels executives, directors, and employees on equity compensation topics.
Before joining Zany Brainy, he practiced with the law firms of White & Case, New York, NY; Bryan Cave, New York, NY; and Richards Layton & Finger, Wilmington, DE. Dan received his BA in Economics from Rutgers College and his JD from the University of Virginia Law School.
